This location is not only great for being home to the Fort King National Historic Landmark, there’s also the reconstructed fort, a Visitor Center, library, interpretive trail, and Heritage Teaching Garden. The area has numerous lovely residences, some of which were constructed in the mid-1970s, as well as more recent developments. The locality is close to the Historic District, yet does not fall within it, thus allowing for much more affordable housing.

Historic Downtown Ocala
